Elizabeth May said in 2011 that supporting homeopathy in the Green Party’s health care policy was a mistake. Two year later, homeopathy is still part of the party’s policy. The party was reminded of this fact by people on twitter questioning her for continuing support of homeopathy. When Toronto writer Audra Williams brought up the Green Party’s support for homeopathy, Elizabeth May had denied it. The Green Party’s “Vision Green” policy had listed homeopathy as an “error,” but it’s still listed on the Green Party’s current policy on greenparty.ca.

The Green party is frowned upon in this article because the party supported homeopathy. The Green Party was questioned why they continue to support an unproven medical treatment. Elizabeth May, the party leader denies that her party does not support the drug although it is on the party’s policy on their website. The article continues to talk about how homeopathy is a nonsense treatment and there are no scientific studies that have proven that the treatment works.
